LSWC had 33 members participate in the 2012 MO USA District Tournament this past Saturday, March 3 and advanced 58% of them to the next round, Regionals this Saturday.

They'll all be drilling hard this week to prepare for Reqionals competition and a top four finish which will earn them a trip to State. All Club members are encouraged to come and help their fellow wrestlers prepare for the next step on their quest to the State Tournament.
The Off-Season page has been updated and will continue to be updated over the coming months as freestyle and Greco-Roman tournaments are identified. All members need to keep track of the spring/summer off -season schedule by visiting the Off-Season page on our web site often.
District Team
The 2012 USA Wrestling Missouri District Tournament will be held this coming Saturday at Ray-Pec High School at 9:00am.

6U State
The 2012 USA Wrestling Missouri Six and Under State Championships were held at the Civic Arena in St. Joseph this past Saturday. LSWC had eight participants in the tournament. LSWC recognizes medalists Jimmy McGovern 2nd place, Mickael Asstake 3rd place, Michael Foley 5th place, Lucas Barry 6th place and Davin Mathes 6th place and congratulates the rest of the state team - Kory Harker, Mason Shene, Tommy Kerr and Landon Kelce. LSWC would also like to thank all of the parents for their support of the kids.
Rookie State
The 2012 USA Wrestling Missouri Rookie State Championships were held at the Civic Arena in St. Joseph this past Saturday immediately after the six and under tournament. LSWC had thirteen participants in the tournament. LSWC recognizes medalists Salvatore Garozzo 1st place, Cameron Penny 1st place, Tyler Baird 2nd place, Jakob Stilwell 3rd place, Gavin Ray 4th place, Keegan Phillips 6th place, Dillion Chronister 6th place and Dawson Puttoff 6th place and congratulates the rest of the state team - Connor Rorich, Victoria St. Louis, Logan Mathes, and Michael Garozzo. LSWC would also like to thank all of the parents for their support of the kids.

The Lee’s Summit Wrestling Club is group of dedicated amateur athletes and adult volunteers, committed to training and competing in the sport of wrestling in the state of Missouri. We work in close partnership with the Lee’s Summit High School Wrestling Program, and support the ideals and philosophies of High School wrestling in our activities and training. ALL YOUTH are welcome and encouraged to join, regardless of their High School affiliation.
